Deutsche Bank has appointed Simon Stormer as Channel Islands Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Jackie Foot as COO for Wealth Management.
The appointments follow the bank’s decision earlier this year to split its regional COO responsibilities to align with its group management model. As a result, it now has two COO roles in the Channel Islands – one covering regional operational issues and one for its wealth management business.
Based in Jersey, Simon will take responsibility for the bank’s governance, risk and controls, as well as infrastructure including technology and corporate real estate services across Guernsey and Jersey.
He has more than 30 years of international financial services experience and most recently worked with Deutsche Bank in the UK as an adviser on corporate governance matters.
He has also had responsibility for reviewing and approving new products for investment banking, asset and wealth management, and transaction banking.
In her new role, Jackie, also based in Jersey, will oversee the bank’s wealth management platforms for clients in Jersey, Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.
With a career that spans more than three decades in corporate, private and retail banking, Jackie has been with Deutsche Bank since 2006.
She has worked within its wealth management division for seven years across multiple locations, including Switzerland, where she held a senior operational risk role. She was most recently Head of Corporate Services in Jersey.
