Martin Rowley has joined Deloitte’s Channel Islands practice as the leader of the Jersey tax team.
With 25 years of international tax experience – 20 of them in legal practice – Martin joined Deloitte in 2012. He is currently a Tax Partner in its US Business Tax Group in London, advising on corporate and international tax matters for clients in a wide range of industries.
Martin, who is originally from Jersey, took on the new role at the beginning of this month but will maintain his London and cross-border client relationships and ongoing responsibilities within the US Business Tax Group.
Martin acts for private equity houses, real estate funds and sovereign financial institutions in the structuring and execution of investments, joint ventures and other M&A activities, as well as assisting fund managers in the structuring of portfolio investments, financings and divestments.
He also has considerable experience working with clients offshore and in Europe, China, India, the Middle East and North Africa.
