Insolvency, restructuring and fraud investigation firm CVR Global has expanded into Jersey.
The firm, formed in 2015 following the MBO of the business recovery division of Chantrey Vellacott, has opened CV Recovery Global (Jersey) in a new office in St Helier.
The new operation is led by Chief Executive Officer John Greenwood (pictured).
John joined CVR Global as Partner last year to set up offices in a number of offshore jurisdictions, including Anguilla, British Virgin Islands and Jersey. He has more than 25 years of experience as a lawyer, insolvency and trust practitioner, and as a banker specialising in insolvency, banking and finance, fraud investigation and asset recovery.
He has in the past also had spells as a Partner in the BVI with Withers, Appleby and EY.
Greenwood said: "We’ve recently expanded the firm’s fraud investigation, asset tracing, forensic accounting and litigation units and these will be central to our services in Jersey. The office will work closely with our operation in the British Virgin Islands and our UK-based teams."
