Jersey-based administration and corporate governance business Crestbridge has appointed Bashar Bazian as Managing Director of its Bahrain office.
The office, which became part of Crestbridge in April 2017 after the acquisition of Ohad Trust, provides a wide range of services, including administration, accounting, reporting and trustee services to funds, corporates, employee benefits trusts, philanthropic and family office structures.
In his new role, Bashar will take responsibility for business development in the Middle East, in addition to the growth strategy and performance of the office.
With over 30 years’ experience in the region, Bashar has a strong track record in developing relationships with financial institutions, ultra-high-net-worth families and institutional investors.
Most recently a private consultant, he has held a range of senior posts, including CEO of Intertrust Bahrain, Director at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and UBS, and Regional Head for Arab Bank Group.
Crestbridge's former Bahrain Managing Director, Naser Obaid, becomes a Non-Executive Director within the Bahrain office.
