Collas Crill has announced several promotions in the Channel Islands.
Sam Williams, Laura Perkins and Simon Heggs have been promoted to Partner, and Bonnie McPartland and Tom Cutts-Watson to Senior Associate.
Jersey-based Sam has been at Collas Crill for four years, most recently as Of Counsel. He works on complex and cross-border commercial litigation and court applications with a focus on contentious trusts, asset recovery, injunctions and corporate disputes.
Laura (pictured), also Jersey-based, specialises in wealth planning for high and ultra-high-net-worth clients, and advises on BVI and Jersey law. She has served as Counsel at Collas Crill for the past year, having previously worked at Harneys in the BVI.
Simon (pictured), based in the Guernsey office, advises clients on a wide range of commercial transactions, including debt finance, public and private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and corporate insolvency. He has been with Collas Crill since 2015.
Meanwhile, Bonnie, one of the two new Senior Associates, has worked in the firm's Jersey office since 2016 and specialises in trusts, commercial and dispute resolution matters.
Tom, based in Guernsey, has been with Collas Crill for seven and a half years and works on contentious and semi-contentious matters with a focus on trust and financial services disputes.
In addition, four members of the business services team in the Channel Islands have been promoted – Sophie Ferbrache to Group Head of Marketing, Mary Hurrell to Group Head of Human Resources, Vicki Malledent to Group Business Manager and Dawn Bale to Operations Manager.
