Collas Crill makes Jersey appointment

MichaelEvans_CollasCrill_oct19Collas Crill has appointed Michael Evans as a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) within its Knowledge Management team in Jersey.

Michael joins the firm from Carey Olsen, where he has served as Counsel for the past year and a half. 

His role, alongside Director Kate Stanfield and fellow PSL Kerrie Le Tissier, is to develop and maintain internal knowhow, develop systems and keep abreast of legal and commercial updates to support the firm’s offices and practice areas.

Having qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2005, Michael has more than 12 years’ international experience, including with Maples and Calder in Dublin, Clifford Chance in Dubai, Commercial Bank of Qatar, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.

While in private practice, he has advised on a wide range of corporate, banking and other finance transactions, and has a particular interest in leveraged finance, real estate finance, Islamic finance and restructuring and insolvency matters.

Having recently passed the Jersey qualifying examination, Michael will be sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey in December.
