Collas Crill has extended its family law services in the Channel Islands with the appointment of Partners Adrian Brown and Elizabeth Couch in Guernsey.
In addition, Partner Dionne Gilbert has joined the international private client and trusts team in Jersey.
Adrian and Elizabeth have transferred their family law practice from Browns Advocates in Guernsey.
Before setting up Browns in 2012, Adrian led the family law department at Mourant. A collaborative lawyer, mediator and family arbitrator, he is a member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and Resolution, and adjunct professor for the family law module of the Guernsey Bar examinations.
Adrian is also the current Chair of the Guernsey Family Bar Association.
Elizabeth ran a successful family law practice at 4 Paper Buildings in London before relocating to Guernsey. She too is a trained collaborative lawyer, as well as a member of the Family Law Bar Association and Resolution.
Finally, with a background in contentious matters, Dionne has been with Collas Crill since 2003. In her new role, she will provide input, both in a general succession and planning context or when the firm is instructed at the start of divorce proceedings.
