FTSE 250 merchant bank Close Brothers has appointed Richard Briscoe as Managing Director of Close Finance (CI).
Richard brings with him more than 20 years’ experience of consumer and asset finance, most recently as Managing Director of Close Brothers Business Finance, where he oversaw a team of broker development managers across a variety of industry sectors.
Prior to this, he set up and managed financial services firm Arkle Finance.
In his new role, he will be responsible for managing Close Finance’s offices in Jersey and Guernsey, with a focus on growing the company’s loan book across motor, consumer and business to business.
