First Names Group has appointed classic car expert James Haithwaite as a Client Services Director.
An experienced fiduciary professional with over 25 years in the industry, James specialises in the management and curation of classic cars and spends much of his time in the UK, Europe and US handling everything from purchases and sales, through arranging maintenance and restoration, to racing, transport and storage.
He began his finance career in the offshore trust and company industry in 1991, initially with Barclays Private Bank and then with Deutsche Bank International. He joins First Names having been Assistant Director at Ocorian for the past 10 years.
In his new role, James will lead a team of private client practitioners with a focus on alternative assets for high-net-worth families.
