The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2019, which took place last night in the City of London, celebrated individuals and companies that support female leadership and diversity within the wealth management sector.
A total of 21 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were announced, plus two special awards, with winners selected from a shortlist of over 100 candidates drawn up by a judging panel wealth industry specialists. Additional online voting was verified by an independent third party.
Gold winners from the Channel Islands included the following:
• Editor’s Choice Award – Barbara Corbett, Corbett Le Quesne
• Woman of the Year, Government, Regulatory and Not-For-Profit Organisations – Lisa Springate, Jersey Finance
• Woman of the Year, Business Growth – Farah Ballands, Estera
• Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year – Louise Bracken-Smith, Fairway Group
• Company of the Year: Creating Change for Women – EY
• Diversity Communication Campaign – UBS Wealth Management
