The Channel Islands Information Security Forum (CIISF) is holding an cyber incident response presentation – featuring cyber security specialist Paul Dutot, from Logicalis Jersey – on 23 March at 12.30pm at the Arts Centre, St Helier.
Paul will run through incident response and prevention and give examples of recent experiences helping organisations in the Channel Islands respond to cyber incidents.
The free-to-attend presentation will also cover:
• How to prepare for a cyber security incident – getting the fundamentals right, addressing issues relating to people, process, technology and information
• Cyber incident response - identification of a cyber security incident, investigation and remediation
• Following up a cyber security incident – considering your need to investigate the incident more thoroughly and report it to the board and/or regulator
• Future trends – what can we expect in relation to cyber security incidents likely to affect local businesses
The presentation will also look at low-cost technologies that can be used by businesses to demonstrate cyber security compliance and reporting.
