The Channel Islands Information Security Forum (CIISF) has announced details of its July Guernsey lunchtime seminar, Cyber Security Crisis Communications, which will be held on 3 July at the Digital Greenhouse, St Peter Port.
Guest speaker Nichole Culverwell (pictured), Director of PR agency Black Vanilla, will highlight the serious impact of a data breach on a business's reputation and what steps should be taken to communicate well if a breach occurs.
The workshop will help information security professionals, technology officers and cyber security advisers to understand how to incorporate communications planning into their cyber security strategy and preparedness.
Nichole will introduce crisis communications planning techniques, such as risk scoring, stakeholder mapping, key message development and the basic principles of confident crisis communications.
