CI set for National Coding Week

Posted: 11/09/2018

Digital excellence, innovation and inclusivity will be at the heart of the fifth National Coding Week (NCW) on 17-23 September.

Jersey-based NCW Head of Strategy Jonathan Channing said the 2018 programme of events, to be held in Jersey and Guernsey, demonstrates the relevance of digital knowledge in all sectors.
The week kicks off with an event at the Digital Hub on 17 September that will look at the opportunities presented by new technologies and how people can protect themselves from online threats.

NCW’s work has been endorsed by the National Cyber Security Centre, which provides advice on how to avoid computer security threats and raises awareness of the need to be secure online.

Jersey Library and Digital Jersey will be the centres of activity in Jersey, while in Guernsey events will be held at the Digital Greenhouse.
