The Jersey Chamber of Commerce will be holding its final Chamber Lunch of 2017 on 13 December. The event – ‘Jersey needs a Gen-Z Strategy, and Retail and Fashion Tourism is the answer!’ – will be held at the Royal Yacht Hotel and features as its guest speaker Tessa Hartmann.
Dr Hartmann, communications consultant and co-founder of Hartmann Media, created the Scottish Fashion Awards and, following her move to Jersey two years ago, also launched the Jersey Style Awards.
She will outline the opportunities available to Jersey if it undertakes a strategy focused on the Gen-Z demographic via retail and event tourism. She will argue that the island needs to change the conversation from finance to fashion.
