Carey Olsen retains position as leading offshore legal adviser to AIM clients

Carey Olsen has once again maintained its position as the top ranking offshore legal adviser for the number of AIM clients it advises, according to the recently published AIM Advisers Rankings Guide (published July 2013).

The guide positions Carey Olsen in third place for advising 40 AIM clients in total and reports that the firm retains its second overall position by client market capitalisation which stands at £4,077 million for the period under review.

The third place ranking positions Carey Olsen, which practises British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey law, firmly alongside substantial international onshore law firms and the firm is the only offshore law firm to feature in the top 10 table.

Carey Olsen has also jumped three places in the FTSE AIM 100 client table where the firm ranks second overall for advising six FTSE AIM 100 clients and is the only offshore law firm to be ranked in the top 10. The firm also retains its second place position in the FTSE AIM 100 client market capitalisation table.

The firm is ranked second in the financial clients table, third in the industrial clients table, fourth in the basic materials client table and fifth in the consumer goods client table, by the number of clients it advises in each area.

The AIM Advisers Rankings Guide, published by Adviser Rankings Limited, contains details of institutional advisers and their quoted AIM clients. The rankings are drawn from UK and Channel Island domiciled companies and from the growing number of overseas companies that are joining AIM.
