Carey Olsen’s Guernsey office has appointed James Cooke as a Senior Associate in the firm's corporate and finance team.
James joins Carey Olsen from Ogier, having worked in Guernsey and the BVI and initially trained at Eversheds in the UK. He qualified as an English Solicitor in 2003 and was admitted as a Solicitor in the BVI in 2008.
James provides Guernsey and BVI legal advice on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, investment funds and special-purpose acquisition companies.
He also provides advice on capital markets, listings and restructuring matters, as well as the regulatory law underpinning these transactions.
