Carey Olsen makes CI promotions

Claire-LeQuesneOffshore law firm Carey Olsen has made six senior promotions across Jersey and Guernsey.
 
In the Jersey office, Claire Le Quesne (pictured) becomes Counsel in the Corporate practice, while Nichola Aldridge of the Trusts and Private Wealth team and Tarina Le Boutillier of the Employment team move up to Senior Associate.
 
Claire has been at Carey Olsen since 2006. She advises clients on corporate, funds and banking matters, with a focus on corporate real estate and investment funds, both listed and non-listed.
 
Nichola joined the Jersey team in 2013. She specialises in trust law with a focus on non-contentious matters, acting for Channel Islands trust businesses including private trust companies and family offices. 

Tarina specialises in employment law, dealing with global, multinational and local clients and advising on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She returned to Carey Olsen in 2014, having spent two years as a Legal Assistant with the firm from 2009, and then almost three years with Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Perth, Australia.

Guernsey promotions

In Guernsey, Leonie Corfield and Alexandria du Jardin have been promoted to Senior Associate in the the Corporate team, while Julia Schaefer (pictured) becomes a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice.
 
Julia-SchaeferLeonie has been with Carey Olsen since 2005. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions and has expertise in corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds.
 
Alexandria has been a member of the Corporate team since 2014. She acts for international and local clients and undertakes a wide range of corporate transactions, particularly the establishment, regulation and operation of investment funds and banking and finance matters. 
 
Finally, Julia, who has been with the firm since last June, specialises in complex trust and insolvency matters. She has extensive experience in cross-border contractual disputes, including civil fraud actions, freezing orders and asset tracing, as well as high value art litigation.
