Carey Olsen breaks into top three for LSE clients

Offshore law firm Carey Olsen now ranks third for the number of companies it advises on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) – behind only onshore law firms Slaughter and May (first) and Herbert Smith Freehills (second).

The most recent edition of the Corporate Advisers Rankings Guide shows that Carey Olsen improved upon its position of fourth from the previous quarter and it now advises 101 LSE listed clients, with a total market cap of £55.5bn.

Mourant Ozannes was the second highest ranking Channel Island law firm in 21st place. Their 44 clients had a market cap of £139bn.

Ogier were ranked 31st, with 34 LSE clients.

Carey Olsen's most recent LSE clients include US loan specialist Marble Point Loan Financing, which began trading on the Specialist Fund Segment of the LSE's Main Market in February, and independent financial services provider JTC, which was admitted to the Main Market in March.
