Carey Olsen Bermuda is adding to its trusts and private wealth practice with the appointment of Counsel Ashley Fife.
Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, Bermuda and Australia, Ashley specialises in advising clients on the creation, management, restructuring and termination of private and commercial trusts. He has particular expertise concerning pension trusts, unit trusts and complex family structures utilising insurance and investment structures and solutions.
He is a member of STEP and a member of the STEP Bermuda Committee.
Ashley will join Carey Olsen Bermuda in November, after five years as Counsel with Appleby in Bermuda. Before this, he was Head of Legal for the Jersey office of international trusts, funds and corporate service provider TMF Group, a position he held for almost six years.
