Guernsey-based communications agency Black Vanilla has announced a change in leadership, as Nichole Culverwell (pictured) takes over sole ownership from founder and co-owner Jade Isabelle.
Jade founded Black Vanilla in 2008 based on her local and national media planning, media buying and events experience. Growth brought public relations and social media to the service offering, and Nichole merged her public relations business with the agency in 2016.
"Black Vanilla’s core expertise is now focused on reputation management, which I believe will become even more important in today’s climate of uncertainty and technological change," said Nichole.
The agency has clients from a wide variety of sectors, including financial services, telecoms, health and consumer goods in the UK, Guernsey and Jersey.
Nichole is also the Vice Chair of the Channel Islands CIPR committee and a member of the local Institute of Directors committee. She has over 25 years’ experience in strategic public relations, event management and copywriting services and also specialises in crisis communications.
