BL Events launches Boardroom Review 2020

Boardroom Review 2020BL Events has launched its first conference for 2020, aimed at executive and non-executive directors of Jersey companies, and the officers who support them.

This half-day conference will take place on Wednesday 26 February at Grand Jersey from 9am until 12.45pm. It will bring together speakers and delegates from the Channel Islands and the UK to explore the most immediate and pressing issues that boards will be facing in 2020.
 
The event will cover a wide range of subjects, including:
• Future-fit trends that all board members should scrutinise
• How to ensure a ‘digitally savvy’ board
• Crisis management – preparing for the unexpected
• Navigating the sea change of ESG issues in the boardroom

Carl Methven, Co-Founder of BL Events, commented: "We are not only looking forward to our first event of 2020, but also to our first Boardroom Review. Expectations of all board members are changing rapidly and it is crucial that they are equipped with the highest level of skills and knowledge to perform their roles. 

"This event will be a valuable opportunity to examine what the future holds for boards and what is required to keep pace to ensure they are fit for purpose.” 

Speakers are currently being lined up for the event and a full timetable will be published in due course on the BL Global website. 

However, an earlybird delegate rate of £100 (normally £165) is available until 31 December. Three-and-a-half hours of CPD are available.
