Bedell Cristin names two new Partners in Guernsey

JonBarclayBedell Cristin Guernsey has appointed two of its lawyers, Advocate Jon Barclay and Advocate Richard Sharp, to the role of Partner.
 
Jon (pictured top) practised as a barrister at No5 Chambers in the UK before being admitted as an Advocate in Guernsey in 2006.

He specialises in international financial services litigation, with a focus on cross-border asset recovery, regulatory disputes and fraud investigations. 

Jon joined Bedell in 2012, having also spent time working for Ogier and AO Hall Advocates’ Dispute Resolution Team, and is credited with helping to build Bedell Cristin's litigation practice in Guernsey.
 
Richard-SharpRichard (pictured right) specialises in advising on insurance, listings, and general corporate and commercial transactions.

He joined Bedell in 2012 and was admitted as an Advocate in Guernsey in 2014. He has also worked for Ogier in the past.

A legal adviser across a range of major global deals, Richard's recent work includes providing advice to Munich-based financial services company FWU Group as a sponsor to an innovative securitisation of in-force life insurance policies.
