Bedell Cristin has acted as counsel to Monument Re on its acquisition of Nordben Life and Pension Insurance from BenCo Insurance Holding, after gaining regulatory approval from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
Monument Re is a Bermuda-based reinsurer established to operate as an asset intensive reinsurer and acquirer in Europe.
Bedell Cristin's Guernsey team, led by Partner Richard Sharp and assisted by Managing Associate Lee Osborne and Legal Assistant Jenny Mills, provided corporate and regulatory advice.
