Simon JackEnterprise Week 2017 will reflect on the outlook for Jersey in an international context, identifying whether current local and global events are opportunities or threats for business in the island.

With a programme of events between 16 and 19 May, the keynote event – The Future of Enterprise in Jersey, on Tuesday 16 May – will be an opportunity for Jersey’s business leaders and owners to discuss how to navigate global politics, the impact on the economic environment and the repercussions for Jersey.

Jersey Business, organiser of Enterprise Week, has secured BBC Business Editor Simon Jack (pictured) for the keynote event. Having interviewed some of the biggest names in UK and international commerce, he is well placed to discuss the implications of the current shifts in global politics and how these are shaping the economic environment across the world.

Other events during the week will look at the influence simple technology can have on business results, how innovation can drive business growth and the importance of putting customers at the centre of a growth strategy.

The week will also include an opportunity to hear how Jersey's government is ‘Shaping Your Future’ by building a long-term vision for the island based on feedback from islanders.

Enterprise Week starts on 16 May and runs until Friday 19 May. The full programme can be found on www.jerseybusiness.je/events
