Barclays today announced that it would add 65 new jobs to its operations in Jersey.
Exact details haven't been announced, but the new jobs are expected to be primarily customer service roles, dealing with Jersey-based customers, at a wide range of levels.
Paul Savery, Managing Director, Offshore, said: "This is a major investment from Barclays. Jersey is an important and valuable jurisdiction for us as a bank and one where we are confident of further growth. The investment will see us further improve the range of services delivered by locally based colleagues."
