Former Bailiff Sir Geoffrey Rowland QC (pictured) has been appointed Chairman of Channel Island-based closed-ended specialist Bailiwick Investments, following the retirement of Jurat David Lowe.
Sir Geoffrey was appointed to the board in October 2016. He has previously spent many years on the boards of venture capital companies 3i (Guernsey) and 3i (Jersey).
He has also been Chairman of the Guernsey Press Company and Vice-Chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, as well as serving on the boards of Garenne Group and Blue Diamond, before being appointed as a Crown Officer.
In addition, Susie Farnon has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the Bailiwick Investments board. A Guernsey resident, Susie has served as a Partner of KPMG for nearly two decades and has been a commissioner of the Guernsey Financial Service Commission. She is currently a board member in England of the Association of Investment Companies.
Jersey-based John Henwood has also joined the board. A former CEO of Channel Television (ITV) Group, John has served as Chairman of Jersey Telecom, a Founder Director of Jersey Finance, and Chairman and President of the Institute of Directors in Jersey.
