Babbé has announced the promotion of trust lawyer Elena Gogh to Senior Associate, based in Guernsey.
As a member of the firm's Trusts and Pensions team, Elena advises on fiduciary and trust matters. She has extensive experience in establishing asset-holding structures and wealth management structures, including private trust companies, foundations and family offices.
Elena joined Babbé in August 2017, having spent two years with First Names Group, advising individuals and trustees on the implementation of private trust companies, foundations and corporate and partnership vehicles. Earlier in her career, she worked for Baker & McKenzie and Withers in London.
She also advises on the establishment, governance, operations and regulatory issues for family offices. And, as a native Russian speaker, Elena has acted for clients from Russia and its neighbouring states.
She is member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
