Fund and corporate services provider Aztec Group has made two senior promotions in Jersey. Michael Wood and Erique Mvalo have both been promoted to Director within the private equity team.
Michael (pictured right) has been with the Aztec Group for over 10 years, joining as a Client Relationship Manager in 2006. Over the years, he has helped build the private equity offering and deliver operational change. Day-to-day, he oversees dedicated client teams specialising in buyout and venture capital funds.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an ACCA-certified accounting technician.
Erique joined the Aztec team in 2015 as an Associate Director, having spent seven years with Standard Bank Group, latterly as Head of Finance.
His focus is on fund of funds and secondaries structures, quality control and client service, and he oversees the accounting teams.
Erique's career began in 2001 with auditing roles at Deloitte and then PwC.
