Nicholas Plowman founded Ogier’s Hong Kong practice in 2007 and has been building Ogier’s Cayman and BVI investment funds and venture capital practice in Asia. Colleague Anthony Oakes specialises in banking, capital markets, corporate and commercial transactions and structured finance. He led the Ogier team in the Garuda Sukuk transaction – the first non-sovereign USD Sukuk out of Indonesia.
John Melia has been working in Asia for more than a decade, having joined Appleby in 2006. He advised Dongpeng Holdings Co and PW Medtech Group in their IPOs on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, as well as Macau Studio City in a loan facility.
At Collas Crill, Leon Santos covers offshore and onshore projects involving private equity and hedge funds, banks and corporations. He has recently represented air filtration business MayAir Group on its London initial public offiering, which attracted blue chip institutional UK investors.
