Ashburton Investments has picked up the Investment Week Specialist Investment Award for the global energy fund managed in Jersey by Richard Robinson.
Richard, who has been an energy investment specialist at Ashburton Investments in Jersey for 12 years, was presented with the award, in the Natural Resources category, at a ceremony in London.
Earlier this year, the energy fund was given a five-star rating by investment research company Morningstar, one of only two funds to receive this rating. The Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS fund now has assets of more than US$46 million under management.
The awards event was also attended by Simon Finch, Fund Manager of the Ashburton India Equity Opportunities Fund, which was shortlisted in the Single Country category.
