Appleby Partners Kate Storey (pictured right) and Fiona Chan have been recognised in Intelligent Insurer’s report, Influential Women in Re/insurance 2017. The annual report profiles the world’s leading female executives excelling in and changing the risk transfer industry.
Kate, Partner in the Group’s Guernsey office, joined Appleby in 2013 and was promoted to Partner in 2016. She specialises in insurance regulation and the establishment and licensing of Guernsey structures for insurance-linked securities and wider collateralised reinsurance and alternative risk transfer transactions.
Fiona is a Partner in the Corporate department of Appleby´s Hong Kong office, and has extensive experience advising clients on corporate and commercial transactions in Asia, involving Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and Cayman.
Fiona’s insurance practice focuses on private client and trust matters, particularly in relation to M&A and collateral support in financing transactions.
