Appleby has announced the appointment of three Partners in its Guernsey office.
Andrew Harding moves to Guernsey after 12 years in Appleby's Isle of Man office. He specialises in the formation, restructuring and termination of investment funds and has experience in a wide variety of alternative investment structures. His practice also covers insurance and reinsurance, mergers and acquisitions and financial services.
Advocate Richard Field joins Appleby after working in Guernsey for the past 10 years, most recently at Carey Olsen. He specialises in corporate and commercial litigation, including banking, investment and funds litigation. He also advises on regulatory matters and on GDPR, working closely with the States of Guernsey in the development of Guernsey’s new Data Protection Law.
Finally, Richard Sheldon, Head of Employment – Channel Islands, has been promoted to Partner within the Dispute Resolution team.
Richard joined the firm from England in 2014, and has become a recognised specialist in employment law, GDPR and regulatory work across the Channel Islands.
