The Channel Islands branch of the Association for Project Management (APMCI) is holding a virtual event to explain how a full-fibre network was delivered to every home and business customer in Jersey.
Set up a year ago, APMCI is made up of members from Jersey and Guernsey and led by Chairman Carl Ibbet.
In its first event this year, JT Channel Islands Managing Director Daragh McDermott (pictured) will explain how his company overcame the challenges involved in installing such an extensive network and the benefits it has brought to the island, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The online event – Delivering the world’s first full-fibre network – will be held on Thursday 18 February from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and is free for APM members and non-members.
