Two new Directors have joined the board of Guernsey fiduciary firm Albecq Trust Company – Peter Dorey, promoted from within the Albecq team, and chartered accountant Stephen Le Ray.
Peter formerly served as Trust Manager at Albecq, having previously spent almost nine years in a similar role for HSBC Trustee (Guernsey). In addition to managing a portfolio of clients, in his new role he will take on extra internal duties, including taking on new clients.
Stephen joins following three years as Director of Client Services for the Trust Corporation of the Channel Islands. He previously worked for Barclays Wealth Trustees and has also spent time with the Bourse Trust Company.
His new role will combine business development, accounting and management reporting, client relationship management and operational direction.
Albecq was founded by Mike Kupenga and Mik Underdown four years ago and the new recruits will take the headcount to 16.
